Discovery comes in waves.  The 1st wave happens when you first see a product.  Before you even try it, your body has some sense about its contents.  That is why you either buy it or put it back on the shelf.
 
The 2nd wave comes when you smell and touch the product.  Even though you may not realize it at that moment, your body does.  If it is right for you, you will buy it.
 
The 3rd wave is noticing a positive difference in your skin and especially when your friends and family notice.  Enough said.  
 
On the other hand, if you are not impressed with a product it will sit on the sink, bathroom counter or in the shower, unused.  This is your body’s way of saying the product is not for you.
 
Skincare is intuitive, just like everything else really.  Although people will ask us in what order to use the products?  Should they use them morning or night?  Can they layer the products?  Only you can answer those questions.  
 
Actually, we have all been trained to ask these questions going back to 1916 when Pond’s developed a marketing campaign based on 2 skin creams; one for morning and one for night.  That idea resulted in a 3-fold increase in sales and is the main reason companies still use skincare steps or systems today.

We formulate by pH.  In 1968, Estee Lauder disrupted her own market when she launched Clinique’.  She was the first to create pH balanced products.  Now we know, however, that a healthy microbiome likes a pH around 5.0, slightly acidic.  We formulate our products to fall within the pH range 4.5-6.5.    
 
Tomboy is our own brand of beautiful for our own brand of women.  We speak to the common sense, less is more, outdoor, a little goes a long way, make it count, sustainable, anhydrous, affordable, adventurous, intuitive kind of woman.  Peace out.
